It is with great pleasure that Phoenix Women’s Chorus announces the results of its nationwide search for a new Artistic Director as it embarks on its 23rd performance season. Livia Gho will take the baton as of August 1, 2015.

Our Fall Concert, “Rise Again”, will celebrate our renewal and rebirth with our new Artistic Director, Livia Gho. Performing an eclectic/diverse mix of Jazz, Classical, Gospel, and Folk arrangements alongside familiar favorites, the experience promises to uplift and rejuvenate as we journey into this festive season. Phoenix Women’s Chorus is a growing, vibrant women’s chorus, which seeks to provide a first-class choral music experience for women. We choose public performances to accomplish our mission of artistic excellence and lesbian visibility, as well as honoring the contributions of all women through music.



Founded in 1993, Phoenix Women’s Chorus has over 50 LGBTQ and Allied members, both singing and non-singing.  Members are diverse in age, race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, physical ability, economic status, and life experience.
